'The Plan' is the newest single to come from Whitburn's own Lord Swans.The four piece have created a more mature sound compared to their past material, not that there is anything wrong with that, far from it in fact. It seems as if they have decided a slight change is what they needed when it came to releasing new music and I for one am not going to object to that if the band keep putting out tracks like the 'The Plan'.
It is the type of music that will appeal to fans of any age. With a more chilled vibe and echoes of Biffy Clyro throughout the track, you can tell the boys have certainly taken their time producing this song, making sure that every second of it is how they want it to sound.
Vocals of Matthew are chilled through out the song but it goes perfectly hand in hand with the sound that Matt himself along with the other members; Adam Dixon, Sam Thompson and Joe Condon have been able to create.
The boys should be very proud of what they have released, because I am and I certainly I aren't the only one who has found themselves whacking this single on repeat.
