Gig Review - Davey Bandman / Sticky Fingers

Friday the 13th of March, Davey Bandman play their first gig of 2015 at Sticky Fingers and what a gig it was. The intermit settings of Sticky Fingers allowed the public to get up close and personal and truly view the skills that this four piece indie rock band had to offer.

The band certainly didn't disappoint, with a very good mixture of their own material with a sprinkling of covers. 'Come Home' was an outstanding song. The rhythmic drum beat and the gentle chords of the guitars the song was on to a winner, Davey Bandman have certainly produced a fantastic single when it comes to 'Come Home'.

Davey Bandman seem to have perfectly fitted this set list, opening with 'Every River' was a great way to welcome the public to the musical talents of the four lads, throwing in a couple of covers which by the way I have to truly credit the band for putting their own twist on all the covers that they performed and truly made the songs their own.

If that wasn't good enough, Davey Bandman got an encore and went onto close their set with the cherry on top of the musical cake which they had made.

Overall, this gig was free, I'd happily pay to see these boys perform again and I can guarantee I wasn't the only one that thought that after the set they played.

If you want to see Davey Bandman live, they are next performing at Stockton Calling on 'The Vault' stage at 2pm, seriously don't miss out.
